Location

Jharkhand is located in the eastern part of India and is bordered by the states of Bihar, West Bengal, Orissa, and Chattisgarh. The Tropic of Cancer passes through Kanke, few kilometers away from Ranchi, which is the capital of Jharkhand. Jharkhand is the only state in India that is touched by the Tropic of Cancer.
