Haryana cuisine is simple, wholesome and full of the goodness of the land. Haryana, an agricultural state, has retained its simplicity in cuisine. One can try a glass of lassi or chaaj (buttermilk) followed by angakda. An angakda, are small thick rotis made of barley flour, cooked directly on fire and are accompanied with butter made at home, onions or a pungent red chili and garlic chutney.
